My harmony parts for the popular Irish jig "The Kesh".
The arrangement is in three parts: melody, a lower harmony and a bass line.
The harmony and bass line can each be played with the tune alone as duets, or all together in a trio.
The melody and harmony are written for violin, and the third part or bass line can be played by cello, viola or a third violin. You'll get three different scores included - one with a cello part, one with a viola part and one with a third violin part, along with the melody and harmony.
NEW: I've now added bonus scores for string quartet.
You'll get three trio scores and three quartet scores with this download:
* Two violins and cello
* Two violins and viola
* Violin trio
* String quartet (two violins, viola and cello)
* Three violins and cello
* Three violins and viola
The scores come with individual instrument parts, and chords for an accompanist - e.g. guitar, piano or accordion.
If you buy this download, you'll get pdf scores of the sheet music, demo recordings of the full arrangement as heard above plus "practise mixes" for each part. In the practise mixes, the harmony parts are turned up in the mix, and the melody turned down, which can help with learning them.
NOTE: the recordings in this download are only for the trio version; the quartet scores were added as a bonus item and have not been recorded. However, the trio recordings should give you a rough idea of how the quartet versions sound.
There is also a midi file included.
I have lots of other sheet music arrangements too - see my "sheet music" page for details at
